Iowa Athletic Field Construction Company has a busy 2019 schedule in the books and is currently searching for an Athletic Field Construction Assistant to assist in field maintenance, field renovations, and building ballfields from the ground up. This individual will use quality, up-to-date equipment and technology to foster excellent playing surfaces. This position is for individuals who seek to learn about many aspects of the green industry, those who enjoy the satisfaction of completing a project from start to finish through good old fashioned hard work. Ideal candidates will demonstrate an eagerness to learn and succeed, and the ability to successfully work in team and individual environments. Projects and assignments will include, but aren’t limited to; irrigation system installation and maintenance, seeding, sodding, athletic field construction and renovation, laser and equipment operation, and more. The hiring committee will be especially excited to hear you have general knowledge of turf maintenance, horticulture, running lasers, mound building, athletics, irrigation systems, and equipment operation.
